-LizardLick wrote It is actually an amazing stadium, not very big but the club shop, hotels, bars etc are all exquisite.
We just can't develop on the attendance due to our location.

Ey Torres and Eto'o have scored in our last 2 games, they are on..... Fire

I've been to the Bridge about 4 times I think (3 youth games and a Chelsea vs Arsenal match) and honestly, it's nothing special. Not much better than Brentford or Craven Cottage.
Also, your three strikers have one PL goal between them. I wouldn't say they were on 'fire'.

I've got a season ticket at the bridge, love it there. The location is perfect, the bars are perfect, the sobar is amazing (You would only know if you were Chelsea) and it is just perfect

I live 20 minutes away from the location. I live 10 minutes away from their Cobham training ground. I know the area very well. I'm not denying how good the location is, because it's one of the best areas in the country. But as I said, the stadium is mediocre. Obviously you wouldn't agree because you're a Chelsea fan.

By the way, very noble of you guys. 4 Chelsea fans against 1 here. (;

As an Arsenal fan I'm guessing you just care about things like how much legroom you have and how comfy the seating is, but when I go to a match, I go for the atmosphere with a few mates and have a good time & cheer my team on. I couldn't care less if I had an extra 2 inches legroom infront of my feet.

But to be fair, most Arsenal fans are armchair fans and by the sounds of it, you aren't one, so you are better than most gooners

I completely 100% agree with you. I would LOVE the Emirates to be as atmospheric as the Bridge or even Highbury in it's day. But for some reason the Arsenal fans don't sing, shout or jeer. As a relatively long term Arsenal fan, it's the most frustrating thing to see.

I don't really like how you assume I'm one for comfort when I go to a match, because you couldn't be further from the truth.

Well yeah, I don't know you personally, but I know that most of the Arsenal fans just sit there and let them be entertained, don't get behind the team at all, don't cheer or anything like that, which is why I much prefer the Bridge over the Emirates and most other BPL stadiums

Unfortunately a lot could be said about Chelsea fans, I've supported them since I was born but in my area there are barely any fans that have been to Stamford bridge, but it's the same for Arsenal, United etc, a slim amount of their fans have been to OT etc. I just wish I lived close enough to go to more games.

Not meaning to sound rude here, but if you live too far away for you to go to any games, why don't you support a more local team?

Feels wrote I wouldn't say we were lucky. I would say that Crystal Palace caused huge problems for us throughout the match. But we definitely deserved to win. Plus, the ref was too inconsistent in the game. We should have had another penalty, and Arteta's red card should have been a yellow. Ah well, not complaining. We ground out 3 points and we're still top of the league.

I didn't watch the game, but looking at it, you scored a penalty and an 87th minute goal - Doesn't seem convincing but you can never get the full picture from just the goals

I didn't say any games, I just mean I can't be a season ticket holder.
I go to as many games as I can but mostly away games.
Been to the bridge twice so far this season which isn't that bad considering I live more then 3 hours away(train),I. Know it's not an excuse but the train itself costs 60.

It really is Super Sunday:

Sunderland vs Newcastle (1.30pm)
Chelsea vs Man City (4pm)

Hopefully it's an action packed day of football.

God dammit Joe Hart, why do you have to suck? Would have got a draw. And stupid spuds being saved by another penalty.

Terrible mix up from Man city, but torres was good today, an assist and a goal. Good 3 points for us

He worked hard and looked threatening, hopefully he can take that into every game,

There looks like such a togetherness with Mourinho back, all the old guard putting a great shift in, John Terry and Cole were fantastic today. Just look at atmosphere at the end, electric.

Such a big win for us early on in the title race

Nice win against Arsenal now would do us some good

Give starts to Eto'o, De Bruyne, etc. and I'll be very happy
