Adding that to the thread. Anything else? I know I've said I would add some other things in the past.

On a related note, I listened to the brand new non-Monster Solo HD and was disgusted. There's no other word for it. They sound disgusting.

TTG_Sreyo wrote Also what's with skullcandy? do they even have good headphones. Just wondering because I used to have some skullcandy earbuds that I got for free (ink'd) I don't remember them being above average.

They've been kind of improving. The Hesh 2s aren't...laughable like their predecessors. The Aviators are a bit too bright for me, and I haven't heard the Mix Masters, but they get some praise.

They've been trying to improve. They recently hired an engineer to do the in house designing. The Aviators are actually decent-ish, not sure about the Mix Master Mike and the Hesh2.

Do they need to be portable? Ultrasone PRO900, V-moda LP2, HD25 Amperior or simply HD25-1-II

I'd say the Pro 900 is portablebut I guess it depends on your interpretation. I LOVED them. I would, though, considering they're easily the highest-end headphone I've heard.
