I don't want to pay to much for these because I'm probably gonna just use them for school. So they don't have to be amazing.

Xeport 3010 or Meelectronics M6. Maybe the Philips SHE3580, Ishcabible mentioned them and I've never looked into them.

Shure se215 vs Infinity X1
Budget is around $100 looking for all round iem for cheap

My HiFiMan RE-ZERO's were stolen thats why 8987((

They aren't haha.

I don't like the SE215 much, and I'm saying this as someone who got close to contact with the Kozee people (I knew about a secret multi-driver IEM they were testing but I'm assuming never got around to finishing it and was supposed to tour the company and report on it), don't go for the Infinities. Actually, customs and $100 doesn't seem to really work. There's the Cosmic Ears stuff that's really cheap, but I can't really say anything about those as I haven't heard them. If you can extend your budget $20, the Ultimate Ears 700 would be an upgrade. There's also the Phonak 012 if you can't spend more.

I bought a pair ($6 at TJ Maxx). They sound okay, not fantastic. Better than Marshmallows and M9s, but worse than the 3010s.

No...just stop. I'm the only person here who would even consider defending the Beats Pros but they are FAR from the best. Hell, my $74 Fostex T50RPs are exponentially better from both a technical standpoint and from an entertainment standpoint.

I'm not responding to them anymore. If they want to behave like toddlers, they should get it out of their system here and maybe give us a chance to report them for pointless posting or even spamming.

Here's me, on the Beats

Beats by Dre is by far the worst headphone brand to come into existence. Not only do they not try to improve their sound like Skullcandy, V-moda and other companies that focuses fashion headphones, they claim that they don't need "fancy machinery" and design their headphones by ear. The result? Headphones that measure terribly and sounds like crap too. While plastic on headphones is perfectly fine, Beats by Dre uses low quality plastic, making it one of the most laughable headphone out there when it comes to build quality. I've seen Ultrasones being thrown directly into a wall, and no damage was done to the headphone. We can easily do that to many other headphones, but not a single pair of Beats will stand that.

Now to the individual headphones

Solos: Laughable build. People have broken them by simply putting it on their head. The sound is crap too, and let's face it, do you really want to look like a 12 year old that dress like lil wayne?

Studios: The name Studio imply that it is a studio headphone, yet the headphone doesn't sound like a studio headphone at. It has a terrible bass roll-off, the ANC barely works, and the part of the bass that isn't rolled off is emphasized. Nothing is supposed to be emphasized on a studio headphone.

Pro: Apparently these are meant for studios as well, and "The headphones used in every major studio". I'm sorry are you telling me that a headphone is bass emphasized to the point of taking over every other frequency is meant for studios? The K240, the V6, the HD280 are studio headphones, not a pair of bulky aluminium junk.

Tours: They sound like an elephant's ass. Not even going to bother.

Also what's with skullcandy? do they even have good headphones. Just wondering because I used to have some skullcandy earbuds that I got for free (ink'd) I don't remember them being above average.
