I don't know if you'll ever see this or if you ever figured it out. Extract the save data file, go into Koei -----> Dynasty Warriors 4 Hyper. Then select all of those files and copy into the save file location for DW4H in the documents folder. Should work as I found out, doing it that way sometimes helps.
