Item description:

Hello guys, its been a long time since i post something here. Xenia was released for xbox series and the first thing I had in mind was to install some mod menu on my mw2. I tried newer TU but apparently xenia has problems reading .dll so, I'm using the good old TU6.

XENIA TIPS:

It can be used easily via Dev mode or retail mode, but on retail mode you will have to be patient until it is reuploaded in the store as microsoft removes it frequently.

Xenia is not perfect, it has a lot of bugs but it seems to work very well with mw2.

DO NOT TAKE CAPTURES OR CLIPS OF XENIA IN ANY CIRCUSTANCES.

IMPORTANT:

The first time you start a game, xenia will start caching textures and other resources and it will probably start instantly, but the game will run at 10/15 fps until the textures are cached. But after a few minutes it will normalize (the longer you play the less it will drop frames in the future).

After Textures are cached, the game will take longer to boot, mine sometimes takes 2 minutes to boot but the game will run at full speed.

Remember: new maps and textures = insane fps drops until its cached.

Added a Fenix tab with my most interesting mods, the first option being Fenix Shortcuts that enables:

God Mode

Super Jump

Infections (mine ones, Mossy infects are in another tab)

Inf Ammo

Big Xp

Unlimited Game

Disable Fog

Others in this tab are self explanatory.

Minor bugs fixed from mossy code.

Note: This patch needs some cleanup and fixes but works perfectly.

HOW TO USE:

With xenia installed, you must replace the xenia-canary.config.toml file with the one provided by me in the respective xenia LOCALFOLDER using FTP to your device. (you need to open xenia at least once for the folders to be created)

If you are a mw2 modding veteran, you probably remember that you need a default_mp.xex TU6 with RSA checks removed. (If I remember, I can't provide, but easily found on google).

Drop the patch_mp.ff provided in download below inside de game folder.

Open xenia, navigate to your mw2 game folder and launch your default_mp.xex

Every time you start the game, you will only be able to start a splitscreen game, because you don't have a connection to xboxlive and xenia doesn't detect a network cable either. After starting the splitscreen, you can end game since the dvar needed to fake a conection are loaded.

Start a system link game as normal. (but why system link? because on splitscreen you can spawn only 3 bots with you).

If you want to play with bots in other patches, the dvar used to fake connection is: (took me a while to figure out this dvar)

MORE INFO:

You need to replace the original xenia-canary.config.toml because i disabled vsync and frontend on this file. Game seems to work better with vsync disabled and i personaly dont like the frontend from xenia since you should format your external HDD in NTSC and do some more permision modifications for it to work properly.

If you are going to play other games on xenia, vsync off could break the game and you may need to enable again.

It may work on Xenia for PC and other consoles but my game is an Xbox Series X and works at 50/60 FPS.

Tested on Xenia RETAIL mode.
