The Imp status is a lot of things. It’s a bummer because it cancels out most commands, such as Tools and Blitz. It’s inconvenient because it nulls out all spells except Imp, which you can use to remove the status. It is also unfair because if you’re attempting to Summon an Esper, which you can only do once per Esper per battle, and you get turned into an Imp, not only do you fail to Summon the Esper, but you can no longer Summon it later in the battle. This patch eliminates this unfairness.
