Final Fantasy VI Advance, as of this writing, has two important patches that are exclusive to the European retail release. However, the 8×8 menu font featured in said version is unattractive. Its slimness isn’t the main issue; rather, it’s in in how uneven some of the letters are. Adding to that, the small typeface can be hard to read for some. Therefore, this two-patch package was created to beautify the original thin font, as well as widen it a little in the vein of the US version.
