I've always thought that the Combine made a poor job of utilizing camouflage and uniforms. Wouldn't they reuse camouflage or at least make a decent variant? So for the standard Combine Soldier I've given them an urban camouflage pattern on a dark grey uniform. The underarms have been darkened so they don't stick out like a sore thumb. This gives them (in my opinion) a more threatening yet competant look.

The original shotgun soldiers have always struck me as out of place in squads of standard soldiers. I don't think elite soldiers would have been sent out to kill Gordon, not as frequently anyway (at least in City 17). These new shotgunners are more like shock troopers, as such these have no camouflage pattern but are a lot darker with red goggles and a new red Overwatch patch on the left arm.

And finally the Nova Prospekt guards now wear a black and yellow uniform which I think resembles a sort of authority uniform. The goggles are different depending on the type of soldier, yellow for standard and orange for shotgunners. I reckon Nova Prospekt wouldn't use shock troopers but would at least try to differentiate the standard troops from the shotgunners a little bit. As a little bonus I've added a new stripped Combine soldier model to match the Nova Prospekt uniforms.
