Is there a way to dump the dvd key off of a drive using some sort of jtag utility. I have a spare drive that does NOT belong to my jtag that i want the key off it so i can change the keys on my jtag to accommodate that drive. Can i do it? Its a samsung if it matters.

you will have to have a sata card for what you want to do.
you must either get the dvd key from ur drive and flash the dvd key into ur nand
or get the dvd key from ur jtag and flash it into the disk drive
either one would work
both take equal efforts
1 of them doesnt have any any risk of a bad nand flash though

ya but i dont have a compatible sata card. I theory cant jags extract the keys themself

soory bro but to recover youre key you will need to use jungle flasher and hook her up to the PC ... on the other hand sorry but a jtag wouldnt get the key becuase youre current drive key is patched into the nand so even though you swap drives that will not change
