okay so heres what i just found. i was in a private match trying out something id just seen when i backed out of that and went into a live match i went back into the same map which was nuketown. i thought it was just a coincidence so i did nuketown on private match again andgot nuketown again in a live match then i did firing range private match and i got firing range this may be just a coincidence but its worked all three times ive tried it so far and when you chooose the map in a private match you dont have to start it just pick one then switch to player match and choose your game mode that you want to play and it should connect you to that same map!
