As we all know, keyboard and mouse capabilities has dropped for fortnite for the xbox one today. My mouse works in the menu and loading screen, pve menu etc.. But when it comes to working in-game, it doesn't AT ALL. Can anyone help? I have a Razer Cynosa Keyboard and Razer Deathadder mouse.

You have to update your Xbox console... manually check for updates in settings and it will should be pending.

Be warned, the mouse currently feels horrible in game.

Theres an xbox app called "Xbox Insider Hub" that releases early content to be tested that you have to download. It'll requre a UI Update of about 500MB and then it should work after you "Join" the program.

The update is out for everyone.

Alpha, beta and "Skip forward" preview members have access to games like Warframe, Warface and Vermintide 2

But Fortnite is available for everyone.

Depending on your mouse maker, download a program specifically for your mouse on your laptop/PC/mac and adjust the polling rate to 125. Mine is smooth as butter and it all works fine until I get in-game and its like it doesnt know what to do. Not actions. My actions doesnt correspond to the present keybinds, nothing. But for Razer, I downloaded Razer Sy nose I think its called.

QUICK UPDATE: After the UI Update, your console WILL automatically update. My kbms wasnt being read by the game in-game. I restarted my xbox manually and reloaded fortnite and IT WORKS im so excited

I was honestly excited until I figured out the delay is absolutely horrible. I really wanted to be good at fortnite again, but playing with a mouse on console is just way too delayed.
