I learned all of this to modify the first ever DLC content which was map packs for Halo 2's online multipayer.

The main reason I want to be able to play games without digital rights, is due to buying a lot of games on Xbox One, only to be told I must buy it again on Xbox 360 to play them. They will honor DRM upgrades but not downgrades to legacy hardware because they are stupid and I hate them.
