if no exe downloads and you install anything youre fine, people use url shrinks alot, i wouldnt worry about it, if you are scared always open links in vmware to be on the safe side

An IP grabber is different than a download link to a virus.
An IP grabber does literally one thing, it gets your IP address and shows the person who sent you the link what it is.

What they can do with the IP? ISP dox you, try to hack you, or just hit you offline. Chances are, since you didn't even know if it was a grabber or not, I don't feel you're in the position to bother someone enough to do one of those things. If he has your IP, oh well, I don't think much will come of it. Take it as a learning experience.
