So in a few weeks I'll be starting university at Coventry University to study biomedical science.

Is anybody else on the site about to begin their University Careers? If so what are you going to study and where?

What are you most looking forward to at freshers?
I'd say I'm most looking forward to getting absolutely Chuck Norris'ed during freshers week!

To those who are going to uni this year, well done and hella good luck for the future!

I'm about to start a Masters Degree, in Intelligence, Security and Disaster Management. The last 3 years doing Criminology as an undergrad went by so quick it's ridiculous.

Make the most of being at Uni, it's an awesome experience, whether it's the partying, the trips or the late night working on assignments and projects. It'll have a lot of highs and a fair amount of lows but when you look back on it after graduating you'll miss it all, even the bad stuff. You'll more than likey do some questionable things over the time at university, some you'll regret and some you'll love thinking about, i know for sure going to the Netherlands in my 3rd year was one thing which was a mixture of lifelong regret but great to think back about.

One thing I would recommend is making the most of the students union and all the little clubs they have. From stuff like Quidich (Harry Potter) to gaming groups, drinking groups.. there's all sorts and it is very much worth getting involved. If you're sporty too, ensure you attend try-outs and stuff.

Also, if you're in halls, prepare to see some horrifying sights and noises.
