No I was what forum this goes into but bare with me.

I'm 24, I live at home unfortunately, I have a good "stable" job but terrible at saving money, like literally I have 0 saved. Over the past year I've been fallen off everything, I no longer have a passion for games I don't have any real friends anymore as I pushed them away with my addiction I had with gaming. Now it's tumbling down and I think I'm stuck where I am.

I'll give you 1 example, I finished work for 1 week last Friday and i have sat in my bed doing nothing and I mean nothing apart from watch TV. I've lost all motivation to do anything.

I'm not sure if it's depressing but it's getting harder to wake up. If anyone has had anything similar to this please leave a response.

All you gotta do is remain positive man there's always a purpose in life and it's ok that you don't see it yet but you will. There's a reason things happen but don't let it stop you from what you love doing.

You're stuck in a "shit loop" as I called it, I've gone through it a lot..

I understand silence is a lot louder than people see it to be on the outside.
I've attempte suicide but was honestly to **** to do it and thought it would leave to many people upset at me
I also realized that it's not truly the answer to solving my problems
While I have no self worth still till this very day
I'd like to think it'd make me more accomplished to just continue going to maybe find that self worth it does me no good to be dead so what's the point in that

It's like depression but it's not I'm not sad or dwelling on my past
I more less wonder what the hell the future is gonna be like and how long am I stuck in my "shit loop" of isolation, boredom, loneliness and all that.
It bugs me less and less and I'm just growing over it but I still feel these ways just not as hard as I did in the past..

I know this doesn't help you at all I do it's literally my story I guess which can kinda relate.

I don't have a way to cope with it if I did I would've flat out told you and I wish I could
I'm lucky enough to have a girlfriend In whom I've shared my 2 year anniversary with today and she's helped me with the loneliness
But most of this my man is a mental game and it's all about how much you can take and how you take it.

Good luck man, the world sucks

I appreciate both of you in a big way, it is actually easier knowing I'm not the only one.

Was kinda in this sort of situation about 2 years ago, I literally lost interest in everything my job, gaming, going out to meet people even family events. Like I was making up excuses not to go see family at birthdays and other occasions like Christmas etc.

I then just thought one day that I had to change it around and find something new to light the spark as such, so I applied for new jobs and found a new interest in music and now play with a group called CWA Brass (can look them up on YouTube to see what exactly it is) and I'm now working in a job I like, made new friends from it and now socialise with them and I still play the odd game here or there just to pass the time the odd day.

But just keep thinking positive and if you ever need drop me a message or anyone willing to talk on here and we'll do our best to help you out buddy

Sounds to me like you need a girlfriend bub, maybe try n get in contact with some of your old Highschool buddies and see if they want to chill?
Even though you don't talk on a day to day basis, you should still have some friends there to always pick back up. If not they were never really your friend to begin with!

Look at this from the outside - what advice would you give yourself and why?

You've hit a wall and its due to a domino affect of things happening in your life and you're taking the easiest option by ignoring it all. Best thing you could do to get yourself back on your feet is a hobby which requires you to be out and about and involved with people. I'd suggest maybe starting the gym?

You could also reach out to your friends (as a group or individually) and saying you're struggling lately and speak it out with them in person. It'll help, trust me. It's 2018 and your mental health has clearly had a knock and maybe you just need that little bit of reassurance from your friends to give you that lift.

It's okay not to be okay. Best thing you can do is speak about it. Go to your parents, friends or even a doctor. ANYTHING is better than NOTHING.

Take each day as it comes and do what makes you feel comfortable - don't rush into anything or do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. But if you put your mind to it, you'll break the stigma.

Good luck man, giving you my love. <3

The loop you find yourself in will really determine where your life will be heading after the next few rough months. Yes, I said rough. Sadly, the road to becoming more positive and getting your life back in order will take some time. I would say make amends with your friends is a really good place to start. Get more people back into your life to help you with the rest.

Good luck op.
