Not anything close to what it once was. Go in the sb and members/staff throw rep around like crazy.

The rep system died when a couple regular users broke into the rep leaderboard last year. Since then the rep gains have gone stupid, and i don't think anyone cares about it other than users who have below 1k. This time last year it was a race to 2k...now it's a race to 5k! 10 years of TheTechGame and the most rep was in the 2,000's. Within 2 years of that 10 years, the #1 has doubled to 4,300 or something.
You tell me if rep means anything anymore?

Dunno if I was the first to hit it back then but wasn't far off if not.

I went AFK for about 9-10 months, when I came back there were users touching 4 times that, so from that momoent onwards rep was officially useless.
It needs a serious cleanse if you ask me as the idea is so abused atm...
