I lost my mom in 2015 on Sept 28th two weeks after we came back from Canada seeing AC/DC live. Sometimes life is so short and you least expect it when someone very close to you passes away..

My mom's wish was to see her favorite band AC/DC live one last time and so we took a trip to Canada. After we got back to Washington my mom had gotten really sick with pneumonia and I thought nothing of it that something would happen.
Two weeks later I got up around 3 AM called out to mom turned out she was barley breathing. And as I prolonged her life for a few minutes preforming CPR she passed away in my arms the paramedics said..
I don't know what's harder finding out someone passed away and your somewhere else or your own close loved one passing away in your arms. I think of this as I was lucky to tell my momma good bye.

2 1/2 years later it's still hard on me. We where very close. Best way to descirbe this feeling is it's all a dream but I know it's not. On the other side I think of it as she is no longer in pain. (my mom was very sick all the time with various things every little cold would make her fall very Ill)
I go day by day and i think about her a lot but I know she would want me happy. And I have my fiance (Specialize) I thank a lot for being my rock and helping me thru the darkness we understand each other so much we have been best friends since we where in kindergarten..sometimes friends or someone who understands what you go thru helps a lot. Or just enjoying life and having goals some what helps.

Who have you lost ? How do you deal with it?

Also to you Zack thank you again for everything and being there for me your amazing <3.

I lost my grandma this year. Was really shitty because I had just spent Christmas Day talking with her all day, something I rarely did. We talked for hours and hours, and when my dad told me she had passed it just didn't feel real, she was perfectly fine just a few weeks prior.
I spent a lot of time at the beach and tried to keep her out of my mind, but it's hard as the "grandma dies, it's very sad" idea is very popular in shows and movies.
I went to Disneyland a few weeks ago, it was an amazing place and it was her favorite place in the world to me. It hit me that I really wish I could've brought her with me and let her enjoy it as much as I did.

Death sure does suck, getting sad just typing this.

I feel you .. it's like the weeks prior they where happy and laughing and that the shit hits you like a brick wall. When my mom passed that day it didn't hot me to the next day it was like relazation didn't hit in until later like you didn't wanna believe it. I spent a lot of time after that thinking is it my fault ? Could I of done something ? But I did all I could and I was lucky enough to have said good bye and talk to her. The hard part is understanding when it's their time it's their time. And that's good you thought of her when you went to DL. I think of my mom a lot when certain things come up like a song. And imganing how much she would enjoy it.

I had an uncle growing up named Doug, he wasn't my "real" uncle he was a guy my grandparents took care of but they told me to just call him Uncle Doug. He pooped his whitey tidies a whole bunch but he let me do whatever I want.

Miss ya Doug haha

I lost a friend about 4 months ago. He was on drugs and turns out he was at my cousins house buying some stuff from him and a disagreement started and my cousin shot him in the head. It was horrible espcially at such a young age you know?

I'm sorry for your loss, Tens. I don't like sharing personal things, but I understand your pain. Losing a close family member is one of the hardest things in life.

The only actual hard thing in life in my opinion.

I'm in that same boat, I had an "Uncle" Bruce but he was just my dads best friend from they're childhood. He passed away when I was 17 while I was at a party, it was a very poor night for the rest of the night and had to go home because i just didn't want to do anything
