I mean if its something you like then nice. I hope it werent just a 'i want a tattoo cos everyone else has one' moment lol.
I have a hand tattoo which i got on holiday which now id love to change but cant lol.
I also have a half sleeve and a lot more tattoos soon to follow

He didn't put it in the original post, but a few replies down he explains some of the meaning behind it and how it did take him some time to get it. I guess it's smart to take it from someone like you to get something I know is gonna last forever lol

Ah right didn't see that! It's good that he thought it out and didn't rush into it!
A lot of people do just get one for the sake of it (like me.. kinda) lol, Im happy with my tattoos but would of loved to of used the space for a tattoo which would fit my hand & whole arm.

Yeah, this is a design I had always planned to get done at some point, just not necessarily as my first tat. I got a price estimate from an artist I liked though, slept on the idea and then made the appointment so still had a couple of days to back out if I wanted to. I definitely imagine I'll get some 'silly' or spur of the moment tattoo's in the future at some point, but if I do, they'll definitely be smaller and less visibile than this tattoo lol.

Hand tat too big to cover up? I want a hand tattoo at some point, but way in the future lol. I have lots of ideas for more tattoo's already, just gotta have the money now lol

I'd be fine with getting silly/stupid or spur of the moment tattoo's but I'm on the same page as you, I don't want to use up space that could be better utilised later lol, so finding the right spot for a tattoo is my toughest decision hahah

I love it. The lines are clean, its in a good spot, and it has meaning.
Peep went through some dark shit and his music helped me get through some myself as-well. So I love the meaning and the fact that is has to do with him.
Here was my first tattoo which ended up being a sleeve. In the process of getting my other arm done now.
If you get anything else make sure you post pictures of it!
To answer everyones questions about pain. Yes it hurts, but some parts of your body hurt more. Where there is less muscle/fat its going to hurt more probably. Anything close to the bone like your wrist or collarbone will most likely hurt. But also, everyone has different pain tolerances. Its something you just have to experience yourself to understand. And don't let the fact that it might hurt a bit turn you away from getting something. It short term pain for something that will be with you for you life.
