This is not a thread about not being able to win, winning isn't an issue, I just don't like how people hide or sneak around or somehow end up behind me when I just saw them in front of me camping in a base.

Yeah i dont lurk in trees i stay in my base if i need to and just out gun people with the height advantage or if they try do the same i use my suppressed pistol to knock their base down etc. jetpacks have made pushing people turtleing so much fun recently tho because they think they are invincible in their fortresses xD

Not a pro or anything but get roughly 7 kills per game in duos landing at Haunted or Shifty.

Because these people sit back at the edges of the storm or behind shelter and just wait it out. I was like that when I first started but now I push from start to finish.

Tbh I love when it's down to like final 5. I usually play more cautious but when its final 5 I tend to just run and try to initiate fights

Has only happened a few times to me. Chances are you are choking the end of the game because it's the last person. No matter where the are or what gun they have, the moment you fight is the moment you build. Take it like every battle you've been in.
You seem like you know how to play the game, and Saxby brought up just camping in a base: this is a tip from pros, but the pros don't usually follow it. They push out at the last 1v1, get aggressive, move throughout the map. Keeping a height advantage is also super important. Aggression with height advantage should make most people choke a game winning situation. I know this isn't a very well typed out post, just a bunch of little tips that may help.
At the end of the day, it could be stuff completely out of your control and it does happen, and it sure is annoying.

This is what I'm talking about when saying being aggressive at the end game is a good idea. People don't expect it and choke against against aggressive players.

People who sweat out for wins aren't GOOD at battle royale games. If you have that mindset, I'm guessing you're young and the whole #1 Victory Royale gives you butterflies.

Being good at Fortnite especially is going in against people and winning your battles. Outbuilding, outplaying and killing your opponent.

Winning games to an extent doesn't show your skill level. Getting kills and being in tough situations and coming out on top does and yeah this leads to more and more wins.

Actually gives me the fear to think that people enjoy the game while sitting on the edge of the storm, 0 kills and hiding in bushes hoping to get lucky. Being evasive is the worst style of play in my opinion. No wonder kids like this NEVER get better.
