Yeah I can relate to that, I've been here the longest out of all the employees(that aren't managers) and the only time I get treated well is when people need help. The stress right now is being cause by my coworkers not caring at all

Maze, I feel for you man I really do!!
I hope it gets better and that your dumbass co workers listen to you and help you out as it seems to me your a one man army!!

Hard to talk to them when barely any of them speak English. There's one lady that just really grinds my gears and she doesn't understand me at all. So I speak Spanish and she just acts stupid.

So it's just a lose lose situation for you then and I know what you mean by working with people that don't speak English coz I have that issue a fair bit and it's not fair on both sides coz it's awkward and frustrating.

I remember working at waiting staff once,

The place had 20 minutes left to go, we started cleaning, standing up chairs ect, then we had to reset them all and turn the cookers back on again because a party of people appeared

Yeah that's pretty much what was going on last night. The reason I got so annoyed was because this group comes in almost every other Tuesday and the ALWAYS call ahead. When they didn't, I figured we were in the clear but nope, they appeared out of no where and made a huge mess.

I would learn a trade like pinhoti stated.

Make some good moneyy.

I've been tossing that idea in my head for a while. Something like an electrician would be stupid cool, but working in a restaurant is perfect for going to college, which I'm doing

An electrician is a wonderful option, I work around lots of them. The work isn't that hard, just tedious at times.

I had a coworker who was in his 40s just working part time because he wanted free food. Long story about the guy but he's an electrician and he convinced me that, around where I live, that's the way to go.
