Mooneye wrote Sounds like something maDz would do.

I would message Sean and report this.
Why would he message Sean if it was on another website?

I didn't even read the post.

I wanted to be cool so I blamed maDz but it got like 5 dislikes.

Motivational wrote What would a middleman have done?

You got the account details, which were correct and he got the money.

A middleman would take the account details, make sure they're correct, then take your money. He would give the money to the seller and the account to the buyer.

No offence but if you buy an account, make sure you change the email address and all passwords immediately, this was your fault and a middleman would have done nothing to prevent it

I tried to completely secure the account (delete its security questions, etc) but the scammer didn't respond when I asked him to do so, he actually left me on 'Read'. Trust me, I did and I messaged him a few times and everything, still no answer.

I'm not saying it wasn't my fault, I'm not blaming it on a missing middleman.

Maybe this isn't at all relevant, but you spent $175 on an epic games account simply to have some rare skins?

Jesus.

Sorry you got scammed.

Got scammed by buying a fake iPhone 3Gs back in the old days, was so gutted as my mum bought it for me and we didn't have much money (£150 worth) and Amazon didn't even refund or allow us to send it back.

Yessir, I did. And to be completely fair, the account seemed too good to be true. But, I learned my lesson.

I'm still going to get another account, just trying to be more cautious and use a middleman.

This happened to me just yesterday, found a guy on here selling an account. My friend wanted to buy and he didn't have a TTG account so I gave him his Instagram and they talked there, but in the end my friend got scammed of a 150$
