When it's late night and you are just in your thoughts, what do you think about? I usually think about life and things I want to accomplish the next day but never happens lol.

Life, but more of how pointless it all is and how having children is a bit selfish since there is zero reason a person truly needs a child but it is one of the greatest gambles one can take by throwing another life into this world that we see on a daily basis is corrupt, evil, and full of suffering, whether it be accidents, cancer, disease, murder, depression, kidnapping, or maybe you accidentally raise a kid who grows up to do these terrible things to others. There is no real need to procreate, only the want. Suffering is inevitable though, so, I don't think it is worth risking that on someone else.

Considering I work nights, my thoughts are usually "I'm tired. I want to go home."

Yes you could say that. I had a bad injury last year where I fell 4-6 metres on my arm and broke my elbow. Now the plates are coming very loose and moved up a bit. Now I have to get surgery again. I always think about the recovery & Surgery. Now it's put me off work for awhile . Some nights I can't sleep , because when I sleep I just think about that . It just becomes a big loop.

Hope the surgery goes well! You honestly shouldn't worry to much about it! I'm sure everything will work out just fine!
