I have been a Android user for around 13 years now. I want to try out the iPhone side of things. I need suggestions on which one of these 3 phone's are Worth it. I'm only choosing between these 3, nothing else.

iPhones I'm choosing out from...
- iPhones 6s Plus
- iPhone 7
- iPhone 8

(I'm not getting the X Because my phone's tend to run into some kind of issue every time weather it be because of a Cracked Screen, Water damaged, Charging issues, or defects...$1000 not worth the risk for me.

Why I want an iPhone...
- Never Had One Before
- Want to play Fortnite occasionally
- Want a New Phone experience

NOTES...
- I've read that the iPhone 7/8 is not worth upgrading to if you have a 6s Plus already.

- I'm not concerned about battery life because my phone's plugged in to the charge most of the time.

- I do care about smoothness and video quality, visuals, gaming performance, etc.

- I don't care about the camera at all as I don't take pictures much or record videos, so it's a non factor.

- I've had a Galaxy S8 Plus and a Galaxy Note 8 So I've experienced some of the best on the Android side.

- I gave up on Xbox and PS4..and a great Gaming PC is out of my price range. However Fortnite on the iPhone will be alright on one of these 3 I believe.

So if you guys have any suggestions on which one of these 3 iPhone would be best for ME and why based off what I've shared with you here I'd highly appreciate it. And I apologize if I posted in the wrong section.

iPhone 7

It's different from the iPhones 6/s

The iPhone 8 is basically a carbon copy of the 7 with minescule different features that you wouldn't notice were gone

iPhone 7's chipset/speed(RAM) are still up to standard

7 is cheaper than the 8 with the difference of several small features added

6/s hardware is a generation or two behind

So the 7 is a good middle ground

Get the 8 or X (if you can afford it). Skip the 7 and the 6s plus.

If you want everything Bluetooth then the 7/8 is for you, but the 6s Plus will have the aux plug-in for earphones, aux cord, etc.

You should go with the 6s Plus imo.

Not much of a difference from the 7/8, in my personal opinion the 7/8 aren't all that great, if you wanted a phone like either of those you might as well skip to the iPhone X.

I have a iPhone 7+ and have always been an iPhone user. My opinion may be biased but I personally love iPhones; it might be because I'm so used to them and I find them extremely simple to use.

My iPhone 7+ has had several issues (charging port malfunctioning, microphones don't work) but that's mainly my fault, as I used cheap chargers from Walgreens that caused those parts to malfunction.

As with pretty much everything else, it all depends on the care and love you'll be giving the iPhone that'll make it last as long as you want it to. I'd definitely get a cover for ANY iPhone you may purchase, running around without a cover for these phones is an instant call for it slipping out of your hand and possibly cracking the screen or causing damage on some other part of the frame.

Out of the three you specified:

iPhone 7: charging port/headphone port are the same thing. That's the only downside I've seen to it. If you're a fan of listening to music constantly, you'll be pretty damn angry once you figure out you've got to either:

A) Stop listening to music and charge your phone.
B) Spend a bit more money to purchase the wireless 'ear pods' to be able to listen to music and charge your phone at the same time.

iPhone 6: They're a bit 'outdated' and will soon begin to slow down until it reaches its death point. It's been confirmed that Apple purposely causes iPhone batteries to slowly die and the phone becomes extremely slow. The obvious purpose being that they want you to upgrade to the new ones.

Another problem with not keeping up with iPhone generations is that eventually, the iPhone you purchase will reach a 'limit' established by Apple for their iOS updates. For example: iOS 11 wasn't available for iPhones of the 4th (Not entirely sure if it's 3rd of 4th, feel free to correct me) generation and you either upgraded to a new iPhone or kept using the old format.

I've had iPhones for the past 10 years (yes, I had the first iPhone ever and holding it in my hand now is like holding a brick) and again, my opinion may be biased, but I'd get an iPhone. Hope this helps even a little bit, good luck with the iPhone hunt!

Thanks for all of the tips and suggestions. I decided to get the 6s, because when I had android I would always get a plus for bigger screens. But I decided to try out the regular size iPhone and see how it feels. If I'm not satisfied I will most likey upgrade to a 7 or 8 plus, if not those I will go back to Android when they release Fortnite.
