Im going to college in a couple months and need to get a laptop. I need one that i can use for gaming but also good at being a portable laptop.

Kinda what im looking for in a laptop :
Decent bettery life(I know gaming laptops arent good for long hours but as long as it lasts a couple hours for just surfing the web on wifi.
Reletively thin
Good specs(gtx 1050 or higher, 7th gen cpu or 8th gen intel, 16gb of ram)

Laptops i was looking at :
Rzaer Blade( Heard quality check by Razer can be horrible)
MSI GS65 Stealth Thin

I am very opened to suggestions so just comment what yall think

You cant go wrong with the MSI however they tend to be on the thicker side and feel flimsy with all the plastic.
Razer is like the Apple of Windows. Great quality, higher price.

Here are some good picks:
Lenovo idea pad y720
my favorite: Dell XPS 15 for portability, great specs, great build quality, amazing display.

Get a MacBook Pro. It will last longer compared to a pc. In college, that's the only thing that will matter.

Regarding gaming, I would save up for a desktop. Gaming laptops tend to be expensive and bulky.

Not hard at all. You can map the keyboard to match windows. Besides that, it's straightforward.

I bought a MacBook Air for college and it was my first time using the Apple OS(well I have an iPhone)
It's a great laptop for school, obviously.
But it didn't take long to get used to at all for me.
