So I'm helping my friend decide on a laptop for graphic design and I was hoping the good folks of this forum would be of some help. Her price limit is 1200$ but she'd prefer to spend less. Currently she was looking at this: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Would that be a good one to get? Or is there a better one in the price range?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Is this for the sole purpose of Graphics Design?

If so, get a Macbook of some kind. It's what they are designed for and will be better than almost any Windows laptop equivalent.

Sorry it took so long to reply, she said graphic design, applying to jobs, writing, basic computer needs essentially. And she said she uses Photoshop and elements
