Being an Astrophysics major, here are a few things to show why the isn't flat:
1.) Look at the Moon. Earth's shadow on the Moon, is round.
2.) The Horizon. Ever been to a beach and looked off in the distance? You can only see so far. Also, ships do not just 'appear' out of the horizon.
3.) Varying constellations. The farther you get from the equator, you see different star constellations.
4.) Shadows. If the world had been flat, then two sticks in different locations would produce the same shadow.
Normally I would not get into this kind of thing, but since alot people are starting fights over this, I figured I'd give my two cents.

I agree with this one hundred percent.
There is no chance that the earth is flat. I feel this is another one of those irrelevant debates, such as, "Is water wet?"
