KyloCrux wrote Usually pistons rings blow out when the engine is working too hard from lack of oil. I had a piston ring blow and it snapped the piston rod and put it through the crankcase because I had a oil leak from the pan in my 01 Cavalier. I had kept up to date with the oil but a little leak turned real bad real fast. Just something you gotta keep an eye on!
Any plans on buying a new motor?
I plan on going to the junk yard or on Craigslist so see if anyone is parting out a camaro

Junkyards usually have tons of chevy camaros. At least the ones up near me do! Just be sure to check and see if its the whole engine before buying!
