I'm usually a dick to trust me haha, I don't give my money out especially to people that ask but he had a pretty good story and didn't seem like he was lying but I haven't heard from him so I think he was homeless.

I was at a hotel once and this guy came knocking on our door asking for money and when we didnt give him any he broke into it while we were gone.... but didnt take anything.....

I mean, definitely could have been a legitimate story. I'm only allowed to withdraw $300 per 24 hours from the ATM. If he was in the same circumstance and the tow was $328, then it would obviously be believable. Now, if he was lying (which I don't see) that's honestly a pretty good story because it does make sense.

Buddy never came back, but like you and I both said. It was a really good story and pretty believable. I just hope he used it for something good and not drugs or alcohol Hopefully the good karma comes around!
