Edit - Now I has time to post a decent reply I will.

Sean,

I actually have TTG to thank for my career, especially those in the PC sections around 2013-2015 [Shoutout to r00t]. Without a lot of pushing, guidance and the odd abuse, I wouldn't of got so hardcore into PC hardware which is what actually kick started my career back in 2014. I came to TTG to learn and then to teach. It was great and I loved doing it. For many, TTG has been a place to get cheats, downloads and banta. For me, TTG was the place where I got knowledge.

I've been about a bit on TTG but I've never been happier. Keep at it lad and thank you

some people have everything handed to them on a plate, yet I doubt a few would be able to achieve what you have, Sean. That's a sad story to hear, it hit me in the feels actually. It's an inspiration, and I hope this can give others hope to motivate them to exceed their achievements. You've done extremely well for yourself, not just with TTG but from what you have achieved personally. You have created one of the best gaming forums around and I am delighted to be apart of that

You have worked so hard and done so well for yourself I hope this has all paid off for you. I guess it's true what they say. You can achieve anything if you work hard enough for it

Congrats on all your achievements and milestones

I'm glad you decided to share this much although I had hoped you would add in the stuff we had talked about on discord as that was a big point for TTG that you managed to strive past.

It's true that people who have so little give the most, as you really have and we all owe you. TTG saved your life but also remember it would have also saved others along the way - it certainly did me, this is my escape.

I look forward to the future.

EDIT: found this and thought I'd chuck it here:

Great story and much respect for sharing with us!

Time to get a bit sappy ~

TheTechGame honestly had such a huge impact on my life and I am glad to have once been a part of the community. I have seen this site grow and develop so much. Through the years I have met so many great people, some of which have become my closest friends to this day. I've had the opportunity to even meet them, hell I even lived with one for a while. From being an active designer on the forum, staff, to even having the privilege of attending events as media, I will always be thankful for what you have given us Sean. You have affected the lives of many in such a positive way through this site alone. I wish you the best on what's to come, and here's to another 10 years of greatness.

Cheers!

10 years. That's one hell of a hobby Sean. Looking back from my perspective when I first joined TTG, I was unemployed, had no college to keep focused on living day to day either sleeping or just watching the days go by. But then I found TTG and a few of the people on it, I started interacting with people on a personal basis. So you saying your members saved you, a lot of the time that's a 2 way street. Looking back at those times, I'm not sure where or what I'd be doing now if i hadn't come across this site and the people on it.

I'd like to think I've made some friends for life on here, that have actually impacted on my life quite significantly overt the last couple of years especially (You know who you idiots are).

But all in all without babbling on about crap, and I know you get told this a lot. Thank you, this community has had it's good points and bad points for me over the years, but. I'm still here and not going anywhere soon (unless your ban hammer says otherwise, pls no).
