I've found personally one of the best ways is through the military (UK not sure about US) - I'm currently in the process of joining the RAF as a cyberspace communications specialist which will pay me decent money to teach me the job along with putting me through uni paid for, at the end of uni I'll come out with a degree that I was paid around £20,000/Y to get and along with a hefty pay increase after another years training.

EDIT: The spaces for a job like this are very limited and so I would recommend learning something to make you stand out like basic coding etc.

Cyber security is dead unless you have any experience. I'm a second line support analyst in the UK, a computer and network tech.

Get an apprenticeship, that's exactly what I did and it payed off big time. Much better than going to university.

PM if you need any more advice

Vouch for this. Was highly considering this role however I'm colourblind lol! Military is a great starting point, you get all your qualificiations as mentioned.

Good luck buddy!

Start in the Information Technology field, that is where you will find the best business for computers.
