I believe it's more of a possibility that he's Supreme Leader Snoke. He's definitely a stronger Sith Lord than Darth Sidius, if the conspiracy would have turned out to be true.

The Last Jedi spoilers:

After watching TLJ I think Supreme Leader Snoke is Darth Plagueis, like pretty much everybody else.

They've already set him up as a person in the universe and I think it's unlikely that Snoke is really dead, considering Darth Plagueis was supposed to have gained control over death.
What are the chances that the big bad guy got killed by a frankly stupid mind trick by a bumbling idiot like Kylo Ren?

Until I see Snoke get obliterated or his brain destroyed I won't believe he's dead.

I was watching a video about this the other day lol.

It's an interesting theory and I would like to believe that Jar Jar was more than portrayed in the film, considering Palpatine/Darth Sidious was undetected by the Jedi and Jar Jar was his assistant to gain power it would be cool if Jar Jar had a master plan after all. I would like to see him in a future Star Wars Story showing his true colours as Sith Jar Jar

Not big into Star Wars, but I've seen the movies. Has this not been a conspiracy for the past couple of years now? I feel everything is more of just a coincidence, and people are way overthinking is character and role.

I watched a YT Vid on this, It is interesting, It would be great if Jar Jar took the mainstage and told the story about his sith life in maybe a new film?
