Even if you forget to cancel you can always ring your bank up and tell them you didn't sign up to this, and they will provide you the information on what to do next.

I've rang my bank up after forgetting about cancelling it and they refunded the money, my girlfriend did the same and they told her to ring up Amazon and they refunded the money to her also,

It doesn't take too much time or effort to do it, but make sure you only do it once or they may start investigating it more into your personal details and so on.

I mean as soon as you sign up, you can simply remove card and its gone and there is no record of it.
Its okay tho, I discovered a method to get it without a card.
