I haven't seen the movie in years so I was too young to remember it really.. I don't even remember anything about how jack won a card game as someone stated above.. I read somewhere before on this theory tho about how he could have also snuck on.. but yeah don't know.. it would make sense on how they didn't even try to fit both on the door tho.. in reality it would be like "move over b####" lol but how they don't even try that could very well be her letting go to that life she doesn't like or whatever someone else stated above.. might have to watch the movie again here sometime
