It's really all just opinion. Some people enjoy the extra sharpness with the better resolution, others just don't see a difference. I play PC so I see a drastic difference on the new console. Playing on the regular xbox was really annoying at times because I would notice the frame rate dips, and I would get annoyed with all the jaggies from low resolution.

Now, I don't see frame rate dips, and the enhanced games with 4k look amazing on a 4k tv, especially if there's hdr. Now, not all games are going to run at 4k 60 fps, a lot of them will do 4k 30 fps, but to me it's playable because there are no dips. People like to exaggerate that 30 fps isn't playable, but it's more than playable, it just comes down to preference.

Bottom line is, if you're picky about fps consistency and sharp resolution then get the xbox one x. If you're someone who doesn't care about resolution and fps, then stick to what you have.

I have the Scorpio edition and a 4k tv, it makes the games look way better. And plus faster load times for everything.

60fps has a huge impact on fast reaction games like Rocket League or COD.

Better graphics that are a TON better than the One.

X runs like a $800-1200 PC but its $500

I'm not too sure what all these people are saying in terms of not seeing a difference... The difference is substantial. Going from a 1080p tv to a 4k on its own is a huge upgrade, let alone if the tv supports HDR. The difference is noticeable immediately, with game load times cut in half, and the crisp, unbelievable attention to detail. The xbox gui is snappy, doesn't lag, and overall you can feel the power of the console. I've been a consoler all my life, but one of my best buds, a die hard PC gamer, gave kudos to the xbox one x in it's ability to compete with pc builds.

The people saying no unless you have a 4k monitor/tv are really stupid lmao.

The 1X uses supersampling so it still looks amazing in 1080p60.
The load times on games reduced, and it'll be a much more reliable console considering more PC games and open world games are coming to console etc.

I have a 1S and a 1X, can definitely see the difference, and thats on both my 4K HDR tv & a 1080P tv.
Have a look at videos on youtube of the game 'Insects' on the 1X, you'll be really amazed by the 1080p.

It's a really good upgrade, outside of PC ofcourse.
