Lately I've been having a lot of trouble getting to work on time and a couple of times this is because my alarm didn't wake me up to get ready for work. My question is if anyone has any experience with using something other than the classic alarm clock to wake up with, I was thinking of maybe going with a vibrating arm band in addition to my standard alarm clock, nut am unable to find something reputable enough to buy. Also it can't be too loud because I don't want to be completely waking up the girlfriend or roommate. Any advice or input you might have for this would be appreciated. Thanks!

What i do is find a really annoying alarm sound so i want to want to get up and turn it off. I also have mine set in 15 minute intervals so i have some time to go back to sleep.

If i have to be up at 8 i set my alarm at 5:45, then 6:00, then 6:15 and so on.

Hope this helps

I have the old casual annoying alarm tone for my alarm. I set my within 10 minutes of eachother. From (whatever time i need to wake up at - to the next hour) for example 7:30-8:30.

Yeah, I've got the alarms set for every 15 minutes as well and that normally works. It's just I guess that I'm looking for something to add.

well when i first started reading this i thought a truckers alarm (very loud) but you don't need to wake anyone up, so i suggest getting someone you know to say something and you record it and set it as the tone, people typically wake up easier to someone calling their name

I'm a morning person myself.. I mean. Food is damn near an obsession my dudes. Breakfast. Possibly the greatest thing on earth, if not, second to lunch. Go to sleep at night, it's like a teleportor to the morning and your dream is just the adventure there. (Tried to silver line it a bit) a lot of my friends are trying this new gum. (I say new cause I haven't seen it around till recently.) one piece of gum equals a half a cup of coffee. It's got a lot of caffeine. And I know a couple people who use caffeine pills.

You could try the alternative methods.
Like, before you go home go do some laps around a block and pushups or something. Tire yourself out and take a nice warm shower and pass out.

Or

Take some sleep aid at an earlier time and wake up feeling well rested. (NyQuil does it for me) hopefully some of these help :/

If you have a iPhone set the alarm to syfy,

Also you might wanna set the alarm's 10-15 min before you normally do, That way you know you'll be on time ,

If this doesn't work buy a alarm clock called Big Ben it'll deff work it's a old school alarm with bells
