Gold is too minimal for the price and the big value increase already hit. So far there is no sign of it spiking in value again, all it's doing is keeping up with inflation. If you want an investment, invest in something that's widely used and needed. While gold is used in electronics, it is being faded out by other metals. one metal that is in high demand that won't be faded out any time soon is copper. Copper takes up a lot of space for the price though. Think outside of precious metals.

Gold is cool, if nothing else buy it for a month and see how much you like it and if it's worth to you. Personally I like gold but the only feature I use is the sig and name color change. Past that it's a wash for me.
