I having starting problems on my 2001 Mercedes-Benz S430

The battery has been dead for maybe a month maybe a little longer....

But today I put it on jumper cables and let it charge for about 10 minutes... And when I try and start it... It just clicks 1 time then nothing...

Also when on the cables all the lights work all that then unplug it and they will die out in about a minute or two...

Think its the battery but just want to see what other people think....

Thank you

Clicks one time your alternator is dead. no reviving at this point it isnt holding, nor creating any power.
