if you both know you like each other, it shouldnt be hard at all, just flat out say it.

You can go around this various ways. You could simply just ask "Hey, do you want to be my girl?", you could also think of some form of "romantic gesture" to do when you're going to ask her, like a letter or something like that. I mean, that's obviously if you want the moment to be something special; if you just want it to be as low-key as possible, simply find the courage to ask her and go for it.

Personally, I think three dates is way too soon to ask her to be your girlfriend unless she's giving you signs that she WANTS to be with you; because, if you take too long, she'll maybe get tired of waiting and move on. It's really all up to you when you think the 'right time' is and how to go around asking her.
