Hello, i am wanting a i7 but im not sure which one to get and whether i need a new motherboard, ram and case. and whether i will need a specific CPU for the 1050 ti.

No, it can't. You could find an old, used Ivy Bridge or Sandy Bridge i7 for about £200 probably, but you're definitely not getting a new i7 with a motherboard and RAM for less than £500.

What case do you currently have? Also, what PSU do you currently have? Make and model of both.

Why are you upgrading exactly? What do you use your system for and what is it not doing that you want it to do?
