Nik wrote I was talking about this topic at work today and me and my other friend was saying "it wasn't even a fight" Connor has the first two rounds and after that Floyd has the rest of the rounds. It wasn't like a TKO or something that we all was expecting. It was crap to be honest.

I seen highlights on YouTube it was not a interesting fight whatsoever.

Fixed or not, Mayweather would've won.

As much as I wanted McGregor to win.

The reason it went on for so long was for better entertainment. Could you imagine paying $100 to watch someone get knocked out in the first 4 rounds.

Nobody knows if it was fixed or not, but there was no way Mayweather was going to lose and I'm not sure why everyone thought McGregor was going to win. UFC fighter turned boxer in what, a couple of months, compared to one of the best boxers of all time?

McGregor is a show man, his job was to simply hype up the fight. Nothing more. Let McGregor "win" the conferences and then have Mayweather win the actual fight.

On a side note, the supposed 'Best Boxer Ever' let a first timer boxer go 10 rounds with him.

I wouldn't say fixed, it was just a gigantic show to rack in more money. After the fight was over, they talked on stage as if they've been pals for the longest time.

To be honest, I do feel bad for whoever actually spent the $99 on the PPV. It wasn't a bad fight, like Pacquiao v. Mayweather, but it wasn't a GREAT fight.

The videos and pictures of Mayweather with his money are just absurd. Racks on racks on racks and there's even a video of him throwing money in a room filled with what seemed to be strippers.

Just a big money net which increased McGregor's net worth from $30 million to $127 million and I can't even imagine how much Mayweather's net worth increased as well.

And? it's not like Mayweather did anything up until rounds 6-7. Which was probably his plan.

I don't believe it was fixed. Mcgregor might of had the first 4 rounds or so and then Floyd started eating him up especially when the ref called it you could tell Connor was tired and woozy from the hits. Not to mention he didn't throw a punch for awhile. Maybe I could see it was fixed if it went to decision but either way it was a enormous pay day for both.
