I think they can end up in legal trouble if they actually deny you access to the bathroom.

I think it is a dumb rule but can understand how students could use the excuse to go **** around for a long period of time. Personally when I was in school the teacher tried that same shit with me but I had to go so I walked out.

I have had this happen too many times. I just got to the point where I just walked out. I ended up not caring too much for the techer and in the long run just failed the class. I dont like the teacher so I didnt try in the class. Who cares honestly

I remember when I was in High School I would just get up, move towards the door, and just say washroom/bathroom when I'm close to the teacher. I wouldn't ask for permission. Though I could see if they were just about to teach something that is going to be on a test they would ask if you could wait a few more minutes but getting you to hold until the class is over is ridiculous.

Teachers legally cannot bar you from going to the bathroom in the state I live in. Just out of curiosity, what state do you live in?

I actually had a teacher who did that, she would block the door, one time i said you got 5 seconds to move or i'm going in the back of the class, and i did. nothing happened, the principal got mad at her and she had to clean it up, your not stopping me from using the bathroom. i hated that school.

Typical power tripping teacher that didn't get anywhere in life so they find enjoyment in enforcing their made up rules on other people.
