Hey guys, ive been playing xbox since i was probably 9 years old and im 20 now so im thinking about making a switch over to a pc. I have no experience with building a pc or the parts but my brother said hed be willing to help if i got the parts. I have around 700-800 to spend but would be willing to spend a little more if you actually think itd be beneficial. The main games i play are rocket league (will be played 80% of the time), csgo, and probably some pubg. If theres a cheaper build than 700-800 that will run these games fine that would be perfectly okay with me aswell!

I have a monitor, a keyboard and mouse so no need to worry about those.

Will +rep to anyone who can help as it would be very appreciated!

in USD aswell please.

You've actually given us quite a bit of information, so that's helpful but it would be handy if you could answer another couple of questions for us.

Will you use this system for anything other than gaming? If so, what?
Will you overclock?
What monitor will you be using with this system?
Any preferred aesthetic(colour scheme, side panel window, LEDs, etc)?
GPU pricing right now is really shit, so I'd probably recommend buying a used GPU with this kind of budget. Are you comfortable buying used?

I might use it for school work but mostly just for watching yt and things like that!
Im not sure if i will overclock as idk what that really is, maybe if its for the better i would so lets say i might.
i have a dell monitor.. i couldnt tell you the model but assume its one of the more higher end ones as i got it for christmas
I would prefer a white case if possible but honestly im sure any case will do! Leds would be cool but not needed
I would have no problem buying a used gpu!

You don't have to overclock, but you can if you want. For GPU, check here;

and wherever else you can think of. I've been seeing R9 290/390's and GTX 970/980s going for around $200 recently so any of those would be a solid choice. I'm assuming you're using at least a 1080p monitor, but you should find out the resolution of your monitor because if it's anything less than 1080p, you'll definitely want to upgrade.
