From what I read, that usually happens when you are not a recognized seller on eBay. If it's your first sales ever, they'll make sure that the items get to the customers first before allowing the money to become available; pretty sure it's just for customer safety and scam-proofing.

I made a sale the other day (my RGH), it said the money would come in on August 2. I got my money today in my PayPal at around 3 in the morning, two days after the customer had received his item. It really depends on what time they want to take to make the funds available to you. And if you're wanting to transfer the money out of your PayPal and into your bank account, it could take another 3-5 days for it to happen.

paypal hold the money until things are either paid fully and marked as sent or whatever then theres the holding which is normal like when you transfer from bank to pp its annoying and f*cking stupid but its paypal which they have to confirm its real which is why it gets held

This used to happen to me all the time before when I would sell from sites like eBay that took the payments as goods and services. I was told that if you are a new seller that just started accepting payments as goods and services that there would be a hold on all payments above $5 I believe it was. If I remember correctly, if you were to 100% verify your account you won't have to wait anymore, I could be wrong though so don't quote me on that.
