hello i want to wipe my hard drive but i dont know how or what i should do before i actually wipe the drive.
i just ran a full scan on my computer (5 treats the scuruity program said they were resovled 0___o now idk how that works so please leave comment....1 was removed and the other 4 just said detected.. does that mean i need to remove and wipe myself?)
please help please tell me if i should wipe drive and how to do it (also metion anything else i should do)
i will +rep to the one that helps me out the most

You do know wiping will mean you'll have to reinstall windows which takes ages and would be a waste of time if these files are not viruses.
EDIT: Anti virus software can get things wrong too, I have kaspersky and any .exe file that isnt from a well known publisher it refuses to let me open. Even though I know there's nothing wrong with them.

you can reset your computer so it will erase everything up to a date example>>>>april 4, 2000 it will erase everything after that date

yea u will but if you dont wanna do that you can cleanup and restore your computer
