Hey, so i have a 1.8t that we just did the oil cooler and resurfaced the head after a coolant in the oil problem, we drained the oil coolant combo out, then the next day after we put a new filter and oil in and ran it, still had a semi decent amount of coolant in it, is that just left over from it being in the system.... please help

When you drain any fluids there will still be fluid left in the lines. When you do an oil change I forget the exact number but you only change like 80% of the oil. It very well could be left over coolant or your issue could still be the same. You should've flushed the system to make sure it wasn't anything left over.

Update, it's still getting in... All I read everywhere is the head gasket.... We just put a new one on and resurfaced the head... There is no way that is the problem.... No oil is in the coolant it's only coolant in the oil

So do a head gasket test. Things can go wrong in the resurfacing of heads, maybe your gasket is messed up, maybe something didn't mate up properly, etc. etc.

Take your oil filler cap off, is there a milky substance on it? If there is then you have a bad gasket. If there's not, take your spark plugs out individually and see if there's coolant on them / in the hole. When the car is cold, take the filler cap off the radiator (if you have a bypass reservoir skip this one), then turn the car on. If the coolant bubbles then you have a bad gasket. Lastly get a block tester. This is a tube that you put in your radiator (or reservoir), fill it with liquid, and draw air from the radiator. If it changes color then you have a bad gasket.

We decided to pull the head yesterday, when we were looking we didnt really see any problems with it... or the block so it may be internal in the block, it was late last night we may have missed something
