Not sure where you're from, but where I live there are a lot of fast food places and grocery stores that will hire high school students and work around their schedules so wouldn't hurt to check those places out and see if they can give you a chance.

I've learned it's very hard to find a job that you want to work whilst being under 18 (or legal age wherever you live). I worked at a grocery store, as a bagger, and it was okay, but I decided it wasn't for me. If you have a clean driving record, I'd recommend applying at a car dealership for detail/clean up. You'll learn a lot about cars hanging around the mechanics and you get to drive brand new cars, as well as some cool used ones as well. Also, dealerships always have advancement opportunities, such as sales, mechanic, etc.

My first job was a game room attendant at my local bowling alley. Great job for highschool! And I even learned how to work on the arcade games , so being a gamer that was freakin life

Stay away from fast food man! Try to get a job in like a sports store. Example- Hibbit sports, dicks sporting goods, a farm and home store, orileys even. Try and find something you can at least enjoy or learn something from.
