Are these all in that price range? Also can you name all these cars and model variant

They've all been lowered/riced. I added what they are on his post.

Thats your opinion.

Edit: Thats a Seat Leon MK2 and I admit the Ibiza and the 206 is shit.

Edit 2: The MK5 and Leon will be hard to find in that price range unless they have over 120K mileage.

No, that's the truth. When a car has been lowered to the point of half of the wheel disappearing underneath the arch, that's rice. When you put massive rims on cars like the ones above it's not going to increase performance.

To help the OP: Look for a car that's rare in the UK and some are cheap to insure. I drive a Subaru Legacy Spec B (246HP), because they're pretty rare in the UK you can insure them pretty cheap. Everyone else my age has cars with less than half of the power of mine, insurance in the UK is stupid hence why I had motorbikes over cars for some years.

That's why it will be cheaper, not because it's a uncommon choice tbh.

No, cars that are expensive to insure are at that price because they have a bad history of getting stolen or people crashing them.

My car was the same price to insure as a 1.6 golf, whereas if i were to take a more popular 3.0L like a 330i the insurance is close to 5 time as much. Also, an R35 was 5k to insure and a Impreza was 10k.

Not the only factor that changes the total amount, The drive-train of the car and the power in the car and for a AWD your insurance wont be cheap

Lmao you clearly have no idea what you're talking about if you think a car that has been mildly lowered on coils and wheels is rice. Only one of those cars is tucking tire and it's that 206 thing and that's barely even doing it. Not a single car is on overly big wheels. Don't be ignorant.

OP- Get a MK5 GTI, I have one and they're great cars, reliable and have a huge modified community.

Yeah, i may have overreacted a bit but the wheels on some of these cars just look terrible. tbh it's just embarrassing when people lower and try to make a low spec hatchback look nice. MK4 golf might be a bit over the top on wheels though. I think maybe 1 size lower.

I compare people who buy these girl hatchbacks to people who buy mopeds. When you live in the UK you understand the true meaning of rice, I've seen it all, from Vauxhall Corsas with 4 exhausts to Honda Civics with a whale tail on the back.

Honestly just a find a local dealer and get a cheap little runner till your 20/21 then your insurance will have dropped significantly meaning you will have more money to put towards a car you want.

Best of luck finding a car pal.

Or search for a private sale online and get a car for half the price you would pay at a dealer. Also MK5 Golf isn't necessarily a 21yo car, my mate has one and he is 17.
