The whole Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy would be my pick. It pretty much started up the both superhero universes in the MCU and DCEU. Although I didn't agree how they never had any of the main Batman allies like Robin, Nightwing, etc, it was still a really good trilogy.

If I am going by series that are popular even though I may not care for them, I think Lord of the Rings and Star Wars are probably the top two. As a DC fan, I wish I could list The Dark Knight as a personal favorite, but I just can't take them seriously anymore. Bale's weird voice/mouth ruins it all, lol. I get the appeal, but it just isn't for me anymore. If I am going with my favorite, I'm going with an oddball choice, Rush Hour. Third one not great, but I love them. That is my series.
