101Modder101 I was at the college World Series in Omaha this weekend and all I can say is LSU fans are crazy!!! The whole city of Omaha was purple.. I couldn't believe how well they travel. One of my favorite fan bases in the country by far.. it's on my bucket list to go to a night game in Death Valley. This year I'm on the fence about LSU.. Guice is a solid back that I think will fill the void of Fournette leaving pretty well. But it seems like the same thing kills them every year.. not having a top notch QB. Ettling is okay.. but I don't see him leading them to the playoff. If they can get a top tier QB they will be a playoff contender every year. I love Ed Orgeron I think he will do some really good things for the program in the near future

I was at that game... I died at half time and had to leave... I'm hoping there new lineup this year pulls through!

Ps: I'm a Hawks fan through and through, I also like Pennstate. (girlfriend goes there). The website I run is actually for the Hawkeyes ;)

That's awesome! Glad there is another hawk fan thats a part of TTG. As much as I hate to say it I think this will be a rebuilding year... I'm interested to see how Stanley does at QB and what receivers they even have to throw to. Having Jewel and Hesse back are huge but also big questions at safety with Snyder out for the year... you'll have to give me a link to the website I'd love to check it out!

iahawks98 wrote Savitar I think Alabama will be back. Hurts will be scary good and that defense is always tough. Bo Scarborough healthy will be scary to that guy is a freak. I think Clemson will surprise some people. They return a lot in defense which should be one of the best in country. Losing Deshaun Watson is obviously tough to replace but if they have a decent QB they could contend in the ACC. Also what CFL team do you follow? I'm a Calgary fan this year because of Ricky Stanzi! Lol
I doubt Clemson does anything, at least not this year with a freshman QB and I don't think they have a high star QB recruit either. I don't follow the CFL, but if I do, BC Lions. I live in Vancouver so I follow the Seahawks.

You may be right with the rebuilding year. But I'm very excited to see what this team can do. Jewel is the bomb!!! Do you by chance go to any home games?

Ps, just sent you the website in pm's.

I agree it will be tough for them to stay at the top of the ACC. Just don't think you can count them out because of Dabo. Hes a great coach and with the defense they have anything could happen. Could see them winning a lot of close low scoring games

Yeah I usually go to all the home games! I will be able to go to more now that I am done playing baseball in the fall. Hopefully Wadley can lead the offense to a decent season this year. Never count Ferentz out when no one is giving them a chance.

Glad you like the thread and I will do my best to keep you updated. Texas A&M is a tough team to predict this year. Losing Garrett and Knight will be very difficult to replace especially in the SEC West. A lot of question marks on both sides of the ball. I see them getting to a bowl game but not much more.. Tough conference to have a rebuilding year.

As for Alabama. I already kind of touched on them earlier. They should be right in the thick of things again with Hurts and Scarborough back and that tough and physical defense. Should make the playoff again and have a good chance to win it all.

Once a hawk always a hawk! Not a huge Arkansas fan have never liked the Woo Pig Sooie thing or Bielema hahaha. Plus being a Hawkeye fan I obviously can't stand Paul Rhoads lolol. They return Austin Allen at QB and Whaley at RB which is huge for that offense. Defense could be a question mark. They struggled last year and don't return much. Will likely reach a bowl game but don't think they are ready to compete in the SEC West. Allen could be one of the better QB's in the country. Will be in a lot of high scoring games this year the question is can they win them.
