I love what Tesla is doing, but are they the future or will they be a bust? The idea of self-driving, electric cars in my opinion is great! Right now they are produced for the wealthy with their Model X and Model S but soon they are coming out with the Model 3 with a base price around $30,000 and I believe that they will take over. Now on the other hand if these cars have an issue you are going to be paying out the butt to fix them. But with the Super Factory and a little time I think the cost will surely come down and they will be the future. What is your thoughts on this company?

I love the design for the Tesla cars but idk, I like driving my car but I'm pretty sure self-driving cars could come in handy for some people.

I agree, driving cars is great and as of right now you can do both with Telsa. I definitely think so, with like super long trips or just for people who are to lazy, texting, eating or whatever else they maybe doing it could come in handy.

I believe that electric cars and other alternative energy sources are the future. We can only use fossil fuels for so long. The Tesla model 3 is going to be a huge with its somewhat middle class entry price. As for self driving cars that might take a while due to laws and people being nostalgic.

Tesla is most definitely the future and I could see them going very far as a brand. Lets hope they can shake up the entire industry and make electric cars the larger market share over the next few years.

I agree with you completely. Technology is so astonishing, I cannot wait to see what this company can do in the next few years!

Tesla is cool and all but as of now I will never own one.

Here's some pics of the insides of a Tesla Model X in a store I was doing.

They're cool and all but if you know a little bit about cars and look at this you would star far far away from this. Could you imagine if 1 of those motors was just slightly off from the others? That would be a PITA to fix. One thing I do like is that it is a relatively simple design which means there might be a manufacturer that will make the same thing with cheaper parts, it might only last 50k miles but it also might only be $5k for a new car. You look at the design of this and a new lawn mower and there's not a whole lot of difference really.

That is very neat, I have never seen them bare like that. It would be a freaking pain, but hopefully they have all that worked out lol That is very true, I think you have some very good points. I do still think they are the future, may have to get through a few bumps in the road but In time they will get there.

I personally don't think tesla is the future, or at least not for the next 50-100 years.

My thinking behind electric cars is that yes they're great and all but their range is still pretty low. The country that you live in would have to rework the whole infrastructure so that you could charge your vehicle as easy as it is filling it up with fuel.

Tesla has a pretty long range to be fair, but in general, the range for most electric cars is bad.

I think hybrid technology is the future and soon everyone will have a hybrid.
